I am a lifelong resident of Illinois. I was born in Chicago and raised in the suburb of Darien. My father's descendants are from Malaga, Spain and my mother is from the Philippines. I met my wife at DePaul University and we now have three wonderful children.
I achieved my B.A. at Valparaiso University and subsequently attended law school at the DePaul University College of Law where I obtained my Juris Doctorate degree. Currently, I am admitted to the Bar in both Illinois and California.
I am the right choice for helping shape the future of Wheaton due to my extensive business, legal and real estate experience. As a real estate broker and instructor, and as an owner of a consulting firm, I have gained valuable knowledge in balancing budgets and making key decisions. I am open minded, fair and good at negotiations.
I believe that Council members are in the customer service business. They are elected officials that should zealously represent constituents while pursuing the best interests of the entire City.
